The fake sun hasn't even bother to rise or fall within the last few days, weeks, or was it months? The electricity had gone out forcing him to use candles and fireplaces for means of light.
It was probably a distressing few days if it hadn't been even more distressing before that.
Something lights up on a wall though. It is faint at first at a singular point, but that point begins to move and expand. It expands and draws lines of light on the wall. Most are circular in nature, but they do tend to crisscross around each other.
In the end a huge magical symbol taller than he is stands firmly etched on the wall.]
